choosing her doll

kelly has been saving up money since her birthday to buy an american girl doll.  i've not really told her much about them, but this summer she got to play with a friend that had one.

i explained that these were not baby dolls and that mommy & daddy were not purchasing one...that she'd have to earn the money to get it.  thankfully, losing a couple of teeth helped her out a bit!

 this past weekend we went to dallas so we headed over to the american girl boutique and bistro.  it was quite the experience.  kelly had a hard time choosing which doll she wanted, but in the end she chose kit kittredge.
