why do i do this to myself?

most days i've got things under control...not too much going on, but then maybe 2 or 3 or 4 times a year everything i've committed to has a collision. you see, i love to be busy. i really don't like to have nothing to do. i guess you could say i like to have too much to do. this very moment all of my commitments are colliding. just in case you are bored and have too much time i'll list them for you! :)
Kool Kids - this is our citywide consignment sale (aka Kids Market in B'ham). not only do i price lots of clothes, etc. to sell, but i have a creative memories booth (more on this under creative memories). so, this week i have been furiously tagging and hanging all of my items. i get to shop tomorrow at 3pm! yea!
Creative Memories - i am a consultant and so i do "work" from time to time. this business doesn't generally take up too much of my time. however, it does tend to collide with everything else a couple times of year. such as during Kool Kids. i will be at my booth thursday from 3 to 9 and friday after MOPS (more on this under MOPS) until 6. so, this week or really just tonight i've been gathering all of my "stuff" to set up at my booth tomorrow.
MOPS - how i love MOPS!!! it's so much fun and i'm always blessed! i'll be leading that on friday and won't be able to think about it until tomorrow night after Kool Kids. it's all planned out and everything is set up...just the last minute stuff.
Junior Auxiliary - this is the one that has me totally stressed at the moment. i signed up to be PR chair for our fundraiser event without consulting my calendar. well, this event is next friday (the 20th) and i have so much to do that i won't bore you with it...besides i might cry if i actually think about it too much. although, if you've read this much you must be pretty bored.
so, if you have a moment, say a prayer that i will remember the words of the Lord, "who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?" Matthew 6:27 and "therefore do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will worry about itself. each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34. yep, today has enough trouble of its own...so off to bed i go and start a new day at 6am! sweet dreams!
