take a deep breath and say ahhhh

thanks to the Lord that this weekend has passed! i can finally take a deep breath and say ahhhh. most of my work is finished. i do have a few errands left to run tomorrow for my junior auxiliary event coming up friday, but no worries...those will be quick and easy!

and to top it all off, i made twice as much money at the kool kids sale than i was expecting...too bad i've already spent it all. :( on clothes for my children, of course!

i had a really fun time at church this morning. it was a little out of the ordinary sunday for me, but really fun. kyle has a little cold (i think it's allergies), so he went to sunday school with us. david and i teach 3rd graders...they are so fun! kay wasn't there today, so i was teaching large group, also, which is the portion of teaching time with both 3rd and 4th grade. after large group we go back to our classroom and usually play some sort of game that connects the teaching time in large group with everyday situations. today, we played penny soccer. the kids loved it! they are so great. kyle was a trooper. he just hung out and watched all of them because david had to leave early to prepare for serving the Lord's supper in the worship service. after sunday school, off i went to childcare in kelly's class with kyle in tow. i love keeping kelly's class...there were a total of 4 children in her class today. usually it's both me and david, but he needed to be in the service today...no big deal i can handle 4 children! for my friend(s) in b'ham that are reading this: everytime i keep what shades calls "worship care" i think of you all and HOW BLESSED I AM that david and i only have it once every 6 weeks and i've never had more than 5 children in the class. HOW BLESSED I AM! oh, i pray for you all just thinking that you have it every single month and the number of kiddos...oh. back to how much fun i had today...the 4 kids in the class today were having a ball building houses with blocks, playing hopscotch and cooking me things, i guess i should also mention one was having a blast being really cruel to the baby doll. anyway, they had so much fun that i had so much fun. and my little trooper just hung out the whole time with these kids...hopefully not infecting them with anything.
