Giant Candy Land

FBC has a Giant Candy Land that was brought back by popular demand this year. It is so much fun especially for preschoolers. This is one of the only games that Kelly knows how to play and play by the rules. The gym is set up like a Giant Candy Land. Each child is the playing piece and they draw cards to let them know which color square to move to just like in the game.

Kelly was so excited. We've been talking about it for a week. As we would get closer to the door Kelly would let out a little squeal. It was so cute. She just couldn't help her excitement! It was a lot of fun.

Tonight Kelly wanted to say prayers first and she wanted to pray. This does not happen ever...I think she has maybe prayed out loud with me 3 times total. Well, tonight she said, "Dear Lord, thank you for Giant Candy Land. It was so much fun. Amen." He moved her by providing something so simple...a fun night for families.

p.s. we'll be going to Temple's fall festival tomorrow night and then trick-or-treating on friday. so, i'll have lots of pics to post over the next few days. hopefully, i can get a few good ones of their costumes.
